Leading the Littles – Making Early Childhood a Priority

Professional Development Overview

Early learning differs from elementary, middle, and high school in so many ways that it’s staggering. To the outside observer, teaching a group of children this young might seem an easy task. However, there are many hidden skills that children are learning as they play, listen, and interact with others. Leaders of this age group need to know the importance of early learning in order to provide for the needs of the students, teachers, and parents. Building a strong foundation of learning in early childhood is essential for the success of the student, school, and community. This training helps leaders of these “littles” understand the needs of this age group and how to address those needs to make lasting school improvement.
